Thanks for joining us for another month of real science, real Bible, real history, real world. We start off this month with a trivia question: "What well-known event in the life of Moses happened at a place called Rephidim?" Listen for the answer!
This month we begin a multi-part discussion on the Missing Millennium discovery that will continue over the next couple of months.
Discussion: History of the Missing Millennium Discovery. This month we will share some of Dr. Aardsma's personal story about how his journey led him to the missing millennium discovery, decades ago. You may be surprised to learn what Dr. Aardsma set out to do after finishing graduate school, and where his pursuit of truth ultimately led him. Read more on this topic here.
Research Updates: Dr. Aardsma has continued to work on mapping the route of the Exodus—identifying the places that the Israelites camped when they left Egypt over 4,000 years ago. He has now identified six of the eleven stops from Egypt to Sinai. Rephidim is an important location in the Israelites’ journey where some very significant events took place. The unique details of this specific site help us to understand much more about the biblical account and, once again, to stand in awe of God and His works in history.
