The BC Messenger

MERRY CHRISTMAS from all of us here at The BC Messenger! As always, we hope you enjoy this faith-building, thought-provoking, empowering content, with very practical implications for your life today.

Highlights of this episode:

-Discussion: Is there evidence for the biblical account of the Israelites wandering in the wilderness? Many people today claim that this biblically recorded migration of millions of people through the Sinai desert is not historical/factual. Why is this the case? Archaeological surveys of the Sinai peninsula were done from the 1960s through the 1980s. What was found and recorded during these surveys? Do the findings confirm or deny the biblical account? Remember, true stories are found in real world history.

-Featured Video: Israel in the Wilderness, Evidence in the Right Place and at the Right Time. In this video, Steve gives more detail about the evidence for the Israelites in the wilderness.

-Quote of Note: "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete." (Buckminster Fuller) Steve & Jennifer discuss that, as Christians, we probably all would agree that ultimately we want to change the culture—a culture that currently has no real basis for truth and is now rapidly disintegrating. Part of changing the existing reality of our current culture is to show the Bible to be trustworthy, in the real world, in real history. This is a key role of The Biblical Chronologist.

-Aging 101: In this new segment we will focus on all that is currently known about aging through Dr. Aardsma's decades of research, which has culminated in the discovery of the anti-aging vitamins. Today's lesson: Aging is not a natural process. Rather, it is a disease.

-Testimonial: Thelma, age 93, recently ordered the anti-aging vitamins after receiving a postcard mailer from Dr. Aardsma which explained about his discovery of these two previously unknown vitamins.

-Helen's View: Helen shares about Dr. Aardsma's childhood education in Canada, as well as memories of their high school years.
